Arnold E.F. Piragoff, Q.C.

Arnold possesses a breadth of criminal law experience having practiced as a barrister for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Manitoba Bar since 1965, Saskatchewan Bar since 1968 and the Alberta Bar since 1976.

Most of Arnold’s legal career has been spent as a prosecutor throughout the western provinces. He is the past president of the Regina Bar Association, as well as the Alberta and Saskatchewan Crown Attorneys’ Associations. Prior to joining our firm as General Counsel to practice defence law Arnold had already conducted over 200 jury trials. He personally prosecuted over 150 homicide cases during his career as a Crown Attorney.

Arnold conducts cases throughout Alberta, but assists the vast bulk of our clients in the greater Red Deer area. Appointments are available most weeks with Arnold at our Red Deer branch office.

Arnold has participated as a criminal law expert on countless professional panels, committees, task forces and lectures. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1992.
