Client charged with criminal harassment. Complainant alleged that, following a business dispute, the accused began calling her incessantly, and showing up at her house uninvited. Initial indications were that the relationship between parties was purely professional, and there was no way the accused would know where the complainant resided. Suggestion was that he went through personal documents to locate her. Cross-examination at the preliminary inquiry revealed an intimate relationship between the parties prior to the complaint to police.
Held: Resolved by way of a peace bond. Criminal charge withdrawn.
