This young person was accused of sexual assault and interference by his close friend’s younger sister. The charges were scheduled for a two-day trial in Edmonton Youth Court.
The trial judge found inconsistencies with the complainant’s evidence after she had testified and been cross-examined extensively on her allegations and her recollection. The trial judge ultimately held that that accused young person was believable and acquitted him of all charges.
